Description

안 Adjective/Verb : This pattern is equivalent to Not ~. This is used to negate the adjective/verb.

Notes

Conjugation Rule

  • 안 + A/V
  • Usually for 하다 verbs, the 안 is placed before 하다.
    • 공부하다 (to study) → 공부 안 하다
    • 전화하다 (to call on the phone) → 전화 안 하다
    • 청소하다 (to clean) → 청소 안 하다

Conjugation Examples

  • 예쁘다 → 안 예쁘다
  • 바쁘다 → 안 바쁘다
  • 무겁다 → 안 무겁다
  • 깊다 → 안 깊다
  • 달다 → 안 달다
  • 많다 → 안 많다
  • 어렵다 → 안 어렵다
