안녕하세요^^ 미국 사람이는데 일본에서 살고 있는 번역자예요. 한국어는 일본어하고 너무 비슷한 곳이 많아서 일본어로 한국어를 공부하고 있어요. 위키의 쓰기 잘 모르지만, 시간이 있을 때는 일본어 페이지를 만들거나 편집하거나 할까 생각했어요. 일본어로 번역하고 싶어하는 페이지 있으면 가르쳐주실래요?

Hangeul pages
Sorry, been on my vacation so haven't been around much. Anyway I added the contents to the pages up until page 5. I also modified some of the templates, but you're going to have to modify this one: Template:HangeulTop/ja. Also you have complete freedom in your sound descriptions, especially since the people reading that section will be Japanese, so they'll relate it more to Japanese sounds rather than English. I still want to make some modifications on on step 5 before we translate it to other languages. Also wanted to say awesome job and thanks for doing this task! --DigitalSoju 02:36, 16 August 2010 (PDT)

:Ah, no problem. I've been ridiculously busy myself, so it's taking me a while too heh. Half of the sounds in Korean are super easy to describe in Japanese, the other... not so much heh, but I think it's pretty straight-forward with the help of the listening files. I'll wait to translate step 5 until you let me know ur ready. Xaghce 04:52, 17 August 2010 (PDT)

Heh, yeah, English is faster for me ^^ How can I get a hold of the templates for the learning hangeul section? Also, I was going through it and there seems to b a rather... large difference between the male and female pronunciations of 바 on ㅂ_ㅃ_ㅍ_additional_practice that you might want to check out ^^; Xaghce 18:55, 5 August 2010 (PDT)
Oops forgot to change the file name on it! Thanks for catching that, should be fixed now. Could you tell me how to say the following in Japanese: vowel, consonant, next (i.e. next step), back (i.e. previous step), step (as in step 1, step 2). Then I can setup the templates for you. --DigitalSoju 01:49, 6 August 2010 (PDT)
vowel = 母音 / consonant = 子音 / step = ステップ / next = 次へ / back = 戻る . If your going to use the consonant / vowel part to alter the image, you could just use the first kanji in each pair as an abbreviation, but as they're a lot shorter all around than the English, I think it would look most natural to just include the full word and then lose the key. ^^ let me know if you need anymore info! Horizontal means it is written in the horizontal position (next to the consonant as opposed to below). For example, let's say the consonant is ㄱ, if paired with the horizontal vowels ㅣ or ㅏ it comes out as 기, 가. If paired with vertical vowels like ㅗ ㅜ it is written underneath it, 고 구. So Step 1 should look like 'ステップ 1' or should I use 'ステップ一' ? --DigitalSoju 23:15, 6 August 2010 (PDT)
Oh, I getcha, heh. I learned Korean through Japanese so I may have more questions about terminology later... hopefully not stupid questions ^^; ステップ 1 would b the best way to write it. 一 looks like an elongated vowel in katakana, so we usually don't use them together.
