Welcome to the community portal. This is the place to find out what is happening on the Korean Wiki Project. See what announcements have been made recently and view the tasks that need to be done.

Announcements

  • We are currently working on a great new tool to help beginners learn how to conjugate verbs and to know about pronunciation changes. It's in major development so many conjugations and pronunciations might be wrong. As we find errors we will fix them, so please be patient. You can check it out here. -Mstrum 15:18, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
  • The section on learning Hangeul has been started! This marks a crucial step in having a comprehensive site on the Korean language. We welcome anyone who would like to contribute by editing any of the pages there and sharing your talents with others. -Mstrum 20:41, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
  • On 3/26/09 the 300th article on this wiki was created. -Bluesoju 03:48, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Matt from [mstrum.com] and I have decided to merge our wiki projects into one. We both had the same idea, similar formats and even almost the same domain name on the same host around the same time. We will do our best to turn this place into the best source for learning all things related to the Korean language, but we need your help as well. Please join our project by first registering and then contributing to this project. - Bluesoju

Help out

The Korean Wiki Project will be the largest online source for the Korean language. However, in order for that to happen we need great users like you who edit and add content. Find a subject that you are interested in or create a whole new section.

Things to do

  • Create new content in any of the major categories on the navigation on the left side of the page.
  • Have any ideas? Give us any on the Brainstorm page.
  • Are you a graphics designer or artist? Photographer? Korean movie/drama know it all? You might be able to create or recommend media items on the requested media page.

Open tasks

  • Idioms needs to be organized into individual pages.
  • Proverbs needs to be edited to fit this wiki's style.
  • Translation of available templates into supported languages
  • Add {{Languages|PAGENAME}} to the bottom of all pages
  • Add {{NeedsNativeCheck|All needs to be checked}} to the top of all pages ready to be checked by a native
  • Check out the stubs category for pages needing major work.
