Verb Stem + 기 위해(서) : This pattern is equivalent to the phrase for the sake of, benefit of, or in order to.
Conjugation Rule
- Remove the ending from the verb (-다) to form the Verb Stem, and add -기 위해(서) to the end.

- 보다 → 보기 위해서
- 먹다 → 먹기 위해서
