**A Mongolian Spot is a benign flat congenital birthmark with wavy borders and irregular shape, most common among people of East Asian descent, and named after Mongolians.<br>Asian babies are born with a birthmark on her buttocks. The western people who doesn't know about mongolian spots think it is a bruise. So sometimes, they believe that is 'child abuse' and notify to the police. If you see a bruise on baby's buttocks in Korea, don't be freaked out. It's just a 몽고반[[점]]. And it will be gone when the babies get old.
