Description
Verb + 지 말다 : This construction is used to negate the imperative and the propositive mode. While the negation particle "-지" is attached to the main verb, the auxiliary verb "말다" is conjugated with the appropriate imperative or propositive verbal ending.
Notes
- "말다" is a "ㄹ irregular verb" (ㄹ 불규칙 동사), thus it loses the ㄹ consonante in some conjugations (please refer to ㄹ irregular verbs)
