They are both common.

[V + 아/어도 V + 아/어도] → [아무리 A/V + 아/어 + 도] : alway possible.(except for idiom)

[아무리 A/V + 아/어 + 도] → [V + 아/어도 V + 아/어도] : not alway. 아무리 A/V + 아/어 + 도 --Jay shin

yeah, thr first one is correct.

basically,

[아무리 V + 아/어도] → [V + 아/어도 V + 아/어도] : always possible

[아무리 A + 아/어도] → [V + 아/어도 V + 아/어도] : NOT possible

but,

[아무리 먹어도 배가 고파] = [먹어도 먹어도 배가 고파] : both common

[아무리 자도 졸려] = [자도 자도 졸려] : both common

[아무리 노력해도 그건 불가능 해] = [노력해도 노력해도 그건 불가능 해]:both possible, but first one is used more often

[아무리 기다려도 그 사람은 다시 돌아오지 않을 거야.] = [기다려도 기다려도 그 사람은 다시 돌아오지 않을 거야] : both possible, but first one is used more often
