Categories help organize similar content so that all of the users can easily find what they are looking for. When you create new content, one of the first things you should ask yourself is what category the new page should go in. The current list of main categories are:
- Grammar: Contains grammar patterns
- Vocabulary: Contains pages with lists of works grouped together by subject
- Chinese roots: Contains pages with lists of vocabulary using Chinese roots
- Idioms: Contains words that mean something different than what they literally mean
- Proverbs: Contains proverbs which teach a moral lesson
- Slang: Contains slang terms that might not be found in a traditional dictionary and usually should not be used in formal situations
- Media: Contains real-world multimedia, like music
