Father's sister

Hi Gwern and welcome. I saw your comment on the hangeul step 2, in Korean, there are different words for father's sister(고모) and your mother's sister(이모). There is no general word for aunt like in English. --DigitalSoju 02:54, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Oh. Interesting. --Gwern 02:59, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Hangeul lesson

Hey Gwern once again thank you for finding the mistakes and posting them. It looks like you went through all six steps, do you have any feedback on how the lessons could be improved? What was good? What was confusing? Thanks --DigitalSoju 23:16, 6 August 2010 (PDT)

I haven't actually gone through step 6 yet. (Only processed all the audio files into flashcards - no written content into flashcards and I don't think all of the audio files have even come up for review yet.) On step 6, the hangul<->pronunciation link seems unusually arbitrary (I keep getting some wrong because they don't seem to sound anything like they look), but maybe the written text of the chapter explains that. --Gwern 00:22, 7 August 2010 (PDT)
