• Simple: ㅏ, ㅓ, ㅗ, ㅜ, ㅡ, ㅣ
• Iotized (Adds a 'y' sound): ㅑ, ㅕ, ㅛ, ㅠ
• Dipthongs (combinations, usually adding a 'w' sound): ㅐ, ㅒ, ㅔ, ㅖ, ㅚ, ㅟ, ㅢ, ㅘ, ㅝ, ㅙ, ㅞ
