Number Systems
Korean uses two different number systems, Sino Korean numbers(derived from Chinese) and native Korean numbers.
Approximating
- -쯤, -정도, 약- - About
- 열개 쯤/ 열명 쯤 (about 10 people)
- 열개 정도 / 열명 정도
- 약 열개 / 약 열명
- -이상 - At least
- 열개 이상 / 열명 이상
- 한 - About. Often used in conjunction with 쯤
- 한 열개 쯤 /한 열명 쯤
